RemARKable New Catalog Blog Tour - Day 3

Can you believe this is the last day of the blog tour?  It sure has gone fast, but this isn't the end of more great ideas, tips and more being shared.  So check back daily to see what else we have in store to share with you.

Today I picked the stamp set - Elements of Style.  It is on page 133 in the IB&C.  It is a beautiful set and has lots of potential.  The hummingbird is so beautiful and the say "Life is a mater of moments" is so true.  It is about those moments that take your breath away.  The sunrise or sunset.  The song of a bird or an eagle soaring.  I live in Northern Michigan and we have eagles, bears and lots of wildlife.  One day I looked out the window in my craft room (which overlooks a lake) and I saw an eagle flying with a fish in his talons.  What a sight.  Another day I say momma bear and 2 cubs cross the road about 100 yards in front of me.  I slowed down and watched her and her babies.  Moments that took my breath away.  I hope you can think of some of those moments that took your breath away.

Well here are my samples.  I don't think they will take your breath away, but I hope they inspire you to create and share!

This card features:  stamp set - Elements of Style; paper - concord crush, whisper white, Presto Patterns Speciaity Designer Series Paper; ink - Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz, Perfect Plum, Concord Crush, Poppy Parade; Accy - Ticket Corner Punch, stampin' dimensionals, paper snips.  I sponged the Perfect Plum ink over the Presto Patterns paper.  Isn't it beautiful?

 

Wanted to share a 3D item.  This cute milk carton can be filled with chocolate and given to a friend.  Maybe someone who provided one of those moments!  Paper - Sahara Sand, Whisper White; Ink - Versamark, Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait, Soft Suede; Stamp Set - Elements of Style; Accy - Mini Milk Carton Bigz L Die, paper snips, stampin' dimensionals, mini library clip, Sticky Strip.

I saved my favorite till last.  I really like how this turned out and it was quite quick to make.  Paper - Soft Suede, Whisper White; Stamp Set - Elements of Style; Ink - Versamark, Soft Suede, Pink Pirouette; Accy - sponge, Scallop Oval Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals.

RemARKable New Catalog Blog Tour - Day 2

What beautiful samples have been shown on the blog tour so far.  I know I will be placing an order soon for some of the stamp sets, ribbon, accessories and paper that others have shared.  The creativity is amazing!  Today's samples come from the stamp set - Friends Never Fade.  That is so true.  I have made some wonderful new friends through Stampin' Up! and they are truly the flowers in my life.  This stamp set provides so many options and coordinates nicely with the Greenhouse Gala Designer Series Paper.  I used some on each of the 3 card samples.  Along with the DSP and stamp set, there is an individual stamp - Ornate Blossom, Big Shot Original Die - Blossom Party, and Decor Elements - Botanical Flower.  I'm thinking my laptop will be featuring these flowers on it's cover soon.  Enjoy!

RemARKable New Catalog Blog Tour - Day 1

I am so excited to be part of this tour.  I haven't bought too many new stamp sets yet, but I'm sure after the tour I'll be placing an order.  You will find some amazing samples on this tour.  I hope you enjoy mine.

Today I'm using Artistic Etchings.  It is located on pg. 125 in the new Idea Book & Catalog.  I like this set because it gives you a lot of different options.  The circle stamp is very pretty by it's self or used as a background on cardstock.  The key adds a vintage look and can be used with so many other stamp sets throughout the Elements section in the IB&C.  Try using it with Vintage Vogue or Sense of Time.  Here are 3 samples I made for Day 1.  Enjoy!
